Paris Is Burning

Okay, Paris isn't actually burning.
But it is a song by Ladyhawke that I like and it's driving me nuts because I can't remember where I heard it first. Probably in Urban Outfitters.

I'm sealed off in my room because an extended family member is trying to prevent me from hearing her break up with her boyfriend. Not working. I can hear the whole thing, including the crying. He's the one crying, FYI.

Anywhooo apparently I've been hired as an impromptu photographer for a wedding next weekend. I said no, because I don't think I'm experienced enough with event photography to do wedding photos, but the "happy couple" (who have only been dating for 3 months, and got engaged after one week of dating because the groom didn't have the heart to say no to the bride who proposed to him) has insisted that I do the photos.

My biggest fear is I miss something REALLY important, like "I do" or "You may kiss the bride".
Eeep. Gotta brush up on my "shutter skills"!

12 hours of walking around 2 hockey arenas, 5 (pro-sized) basketball courts, and god only knows what else. Oh, and editing 22 images (out of about 2000), a job interview, and a diagnostic test.
